Marisela Trujillo

Marisela Trujillo, MSW, has been with the Gulf States Hemophilia and Thrombophilia Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas for over 20 years. As the Administrative Director of the Center, she has responsibilities for all fiduciary aspects of operations, including the pharmacy home delivery program, programmatic initiatives and personnel. She is the current vice chair of the Hemophilia Alliance and co-chair of the 340B Working Group of the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN). Additional positions she has held are co-chair of the Cultural Diversity Working Group of the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF), the representative of the NHF Region VI Social Work Working Group and co-Camp Director for Camp Ailihpomeh. She assists with organizing the treatment Center’s training for medical professionals through the designation of an International Hemophilia Training Center of World Federation of Hemophilia, developing patient education programs and has been an invited speaker at national and international conferences.
