Joel has been coding websites since 1996. He’s been the webmaster of the Hemophilia Alliance for the past 8 years.

Joel received a M.S. from the University of South Florida, College of Marine Science. His research has included dolphin photo-Id and behavioral studies and the seasonal metabolic rates of Antarctic copepods.

He’s also spent some time doing visual effects for independent films and web series. If you’re a particularly avid Star Trek fan, then you may have seen his work both in front of and behind the camera.
