John Myers earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.
John began working at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1988 as a staff pharmacist. He transferred to the Division of Home Care Services in 1990, and was named the Director of Home Care Pharmacy in 2007. Under his leadership, Home Care Services’ has received the PRC National Excellence in Healthcare award, Magnet recognitions, and Joint Commission Accreditations.
The Home Care Pharmacy provides a full range of infusion and enteral services, for the Greater Cincinnati area. In 1994, The Home Care Pharmacy began dispensing factor concentrate upon its approval as 340B Program and developed a partnership with the Hemophilia Treatment Center staff to ensure coordinated care and consistency in service. CCHMC Home Care has actively participated in the Hemophilia Alliance since inception and he has served on the Alliance Board as a member since 2014.
