Leigh Carpenter, RPh

Leigh Carpenter, RPh, is the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations at Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG). She oversees the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, as well as clinical program development, inventory management, compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Leigh began her career at HoG in 1998, with only a staff of two in the pharmacy. Under her leadership, the pharmacy staff has grown to ten. She has fostered the growth of Hemophilia of Georgia’s 340B program, expanded contract pharmacy relationships, and worked to obtain dual specialty pharmacy accreditation status with URAC and ACHC. Leigh brings 25 years of experience in bleeding disorder treatment, as well as expertise working with Medicaid, managed care organizations, and 340B pharmacy programs. She led HoG’s participation in the World Federation of Hemophilia Humanitarian Aid project, shipping 500M+ units of donated factor products to 75 countries over 18 years and received the “International Outstanding Service Award”.

Leigh earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia and is licensed as a registered pharmacist in Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisiana. She resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, with her husband, Tim.
