With nearly three decades of expertise as a physical therapist and program manager at the Utah Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders (UCBCD), Heidi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization.

Heidi’s career includes receiving several prestigious awards from the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (formerly NHF), such as the HTC Capacity Building Grant, the Physical Therapy Excellence Fellowship, and Physical Therapist of the Year. She has also made significant contributions through her leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Hemophilia Alliance Board of Directors, participating on the NBDF Physical Therapy Working Group, and contributing to the Mountain States Hemophilia Network Regional Executive Committee. Her role as core faculty for the physical therapy program with the Partners in Bleeding Disorders Program further underscores her commitment to the field.

Heidi’s extensive background in clinical care, strategic administration, and operational leadership includes her work in launching the 340B factor program at UCBCD. Her dedication to patient-centered care, coupled with her expertise in program development, education, and compliance, will be invaluable as she advances our mission, strategic goals, and works with our member HTCs and the bleeding disorders community.

Additionally, her academic background as an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah and her involvement with the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (URLEND) grant have equipped her with expertise in program evaluation, curriculum development, and multidisciplinary team mentorship.
