Dan Dalton

Dan Dalton is both the pharmacist and program manager for the UNC Hemophilia Treatment Center Pharmacy, a 340B program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dan has grown UNC’s in-house Hemophilia Treatment Center Pharmacy to a contract pharmacy provider for the HTCs of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. His role includes oversight and management of operations, contracting, reimbursement, compliance and accreditation. The pharmacy program he developed is dually accredited as a specialty pharmacy by ACHC and URAC.

Dan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University Of North Carolina School Of Pharmacy. His pharmacy career spans over 40 years and includes practice in the areas of nuclear pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, home infusion, long-term care, and consulting.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hemophilia Alliance and has served in the past on the boards of AIMM (the Alliance for Integrated Medication Management) and The Alliance Pharmacy.

Dan is married to Jo Ann and has two children, Kelly and Gregory.
