Jason is the Director of Pharmacy Programs for the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Department of Medicine. He is responsible for the UNC Hemophilia Treatment Center Pharmacy and the Ryan White/Infectious Disease pharmacy programs. His role includes oversight and management of operations, contracting, budget, financials and reimbursement, compliance, and accreditation. Jason earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy in 2009. Dr. Wittes currently serves on the NC DHHS Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Board and previously served as a member of the MMCAP Infuse National Advisory Board and Apexus Title X 340B Advisory Board. Jason is also a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar Fellow, a program focusing on clinical leadership and advancing health equity.
