Angela Blue, MBA

Angie has twenty year’s experience working at three different federally-designated Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs). Most recently she was the HTC Program Director at the University of Colorado Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. Prior to joining the University of Colorado in 2017, she was the HTC Program Manager at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota for nine years and before that, worked for six years as the HTC Pharmacy Coordinator at the University of Minnesota.

Angie’s experience includes HTC grant management, Program Income reporting, 340b pharmacy operations, contract pharmacy agreements, payor relations, clinic & research operations, data & quality improvement initiatives, and media/communications. In addition, she has been actively involved in education, camps, outreach, and advocacy in the bleeding disorders community for many years. Angie has served the community through her participation on various regional and national committees, workgroups, and special projects. She most recently served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation and on the Regional Executive Council for the Mountain States Hemophilia Network.

Angie has a BA in Communications with a Minor in Music from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She has also maintained her Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) continuously since 2004.

In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, playing the piano, singing, and attending many of the wonderful live outdoor concerts that Colorado has to offer.
