With over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, Karen is joining the Hemophilia Alliance team bringing a diverse background and experience with her. Prior to joining the Hemophilia Alliance, Karen held several positions within the bleeding disorders industry, most recently as a Coagulation Specialist for Octapharma, USA. Prior to that, she managed the Community Affairs team of Accredo Specialty Pharmacy for 13 years, where she oversaw patient growth and retention efforts. Karen began her career in hemophilia at the Hemophilia Treatment Center of Central Pennsylvania, where she managed the Special Hematology laboratory for 15 years.

Karen received her Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern University and undergraduate degrees from both The Pennsylvania State University and Elizabethtown College. She resides in Hummelstown, PA with her husband Tom and has 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.
