Marisela Trujillo, MSW, has been with the Gulf States Hemophilia and Thrombophilia Center, University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas for over 20 years.  As the Administrative Director of the Center, she has responsibilities for all fiduciary aspects of operations, including the 340B pharmacy home delivery program, programmatic initiatives and personnel. She is the current Chair of the Hemophilia Alliance Board and past co-chair of the 340B Working Group of the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN).   Additional positions she has held are faculty for the Comprehensive Care Sustainability Collaborative (CCSC) of the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF), co-chair of the Cultural Diversity Working Group of the NHF, the representative of the NHF Region VI Social Work Working Group and co-Camp Director for Camp Ailihpomeh.   She assists with developing patient education programs, including quality improvement initiatives, working closely with insurance contractors, organizing the treatment Center’s training for medical professionals through the designation of an International Hemophilia Training Center of the World Federation of Hemophilia. She has been an invited speaker at national and international conferences, most recently at 340B 25th Anniversary Congressional Briefing and has authored various papers.
